Bird Hunting in Sun Valley

In addition to all the quality fishing, Lost River Outfitters offers guided bird hunting trips in the area. Chukar hunting in the surrounding hills of the Wood River valley and Pheasant hunting on the Tews private preserve. The local Chukar hunting season runs from mid September to the end of December and can be very exciting. The Pheasant hunting season runs from mid August and ends in mid April. The Tews ranch has been offering quality upland hunts for many years and takes pride in their services.

Scott and his team also do an excellent job during fall and winter with upland game hunting. They know where the birds are and make sure of a safe hunt. There's no going in early, though. It's a great day when you flush wild chukker and hungarian partridge in the high hills around Sun Valley. The dinner following isn't too bad either. Jeff Hall
