Fishing Report - Early May:

While the Bigwood and its tributaries are closed, there are still plenty of opportunities to fish if you’re willing to make the drive. The weather has been somewhat inconsistent recently, but hitting the water on a warm sunny day will be best. Surface action can be found during the warmer parts of the day, but otherwise nymphing deep and heavy rigs will be your best bet at producing fish. Be safe while wading the rivers this time of year as they can be unforgiving.
